Sorry for the delay, here is the new UI design:

 



Not all UI features are in place, but navigation is working the way I want it and etc. Now I can move on to showing the reading of device functions such ss GPS and Camera and than show APi integration with Google, Brightkite, and etc.

The floating menu trick is done using absolute positiing and z-index values.  The menu of icons is using the filmstrip and image array tricks.
