It seems that any mobile  platform employing webkit as browser reserves a small space of pixel on the right side for the scroll bar. You will notice it as a white sliver of space when you attempt ot do high quality multi-color layouts. The trick is ot set the widht of the top most css/html container to 101 percent in width.
