Electric vehicles use less than a half kilowatt-hour of electricity per mile, so at 10 cents per kilowatt-hour, you would spend less than $500 on electricity for 10,000 miles. And if you happen to be a Colorado resident, you're eligible for a tax credit of 100% of the costs of an electric conversion - a free electric car! Other states may have similar incentives."
