Normally people thinks that distributed/clustered things are so complicated, need tones of configuration and require lots of product specific knowledge. This Hazelcast screencast is aiming to show how simple and fun distributed programming can be. In this screencast we will:
  • download hazelcast-1.4.zip and go over the distro
  • run the TestApp that has command-line interface simulating Hazelcast API
  • start a cluster with 4 members
  • do some distributed queue, map, set, lock operations
  • taste transaction and events/messaging

It is about 12 minutes video. I hope you enjoy it.
