The problem with two screens is that Gnome panels are not really effective as navigation. As you can see from the image below one big Cairo-Dock is not the answer either.

Maybe I can creatively use conky, screenlets, and smaller cairo sub-docs to erase the navigation as I only want the docs taking up the middle title bar of the open application only.
