Several reports of hanging after upgrade to 2.6.24.19 kernel in Ubuntu. If this is you do not worry, reboot and at boot screen hit esc and a list of installed kernels come sup and choose the 2.6.24.18 kernel to boot into and you are fine. Still not sure why we have a 2.6.24.19 problem.
