Andrei has another Equinox-P2 Post. A word of caution, while I can see Andrei's points, I can also see that we need Equinox-P2. Nothing is gained by either side of this issue using a shut up response as a point of debate or personal attacks as a point of debate. To borrow one Eclipse contributor's wording from another community discussion lets be adults and discuss all of the points.

Personally, I think there is room for both solutions in the same Eclipse 3.4 release, that is the Equinox P2 Update manager enabled and a way to go back to the old update manager functionality.
