This week we are kicking off a new developer blog series in which the MyEclipse technical team will share quick tips, tricks and fun stories about the use of MyEclipse toward Java enterprise development.

This May marks the fifth year of service for MyEclipse. If you have followed MyEclipse over the past five years, you have noticed that we have added a 1000+ productivity features since that first release in 2003. The addition of so many features can inevitably lead to questions by users.

Last week, Greg Amerson, from the MyEclipse development team, presented an overview of the key MyEclipse productivity features to the local JavaMUG (http://javamug.org/)in Dallas. Upon conclusion a common theme from so many of the developers in the audience was "I didn't know MyEclipse could do ." Rather than present a long laundry list of how-to tutorials, the MyEclipse technical team will be presenting an on-going weekly series. The scope of tips and tricks will range from novice to very advanced use. We have found that a wide range of developer skills challenges us to be inclusive for all skill levels. Please don't hesitate to make specific requests.
