I have vmware tools installed and running in my guest Unbuntu image. Clock still out of synch with Host OS clock. I have all the normal settings for time synch in the vmx file and the vmware preferences.ini. Hopefully, I have the vmware prefernces.ini settings backward. Time not that important on my dev images but on the server images that I will be uploading to hosting its kind of damn important.

I guess what might be goofing it up is I ave MS Vista 32 bit on AMD 64 running a 32 bit Ubuntu. Maybe running a 64 bit version of Ubuntu in VMWare perhaps?
