The problem is that you have many portal plugins for several different portals. and some portal servers are not supported via these plugins, JBoss Portal for example. why cannot we have one generic set of plugins that works the same way as the Eclipse WTP project, you get a portal server definition and that integrates into the proper generation of the entries in the web.xml and the portlet.xml and etc. I guess for right now I will have to do sme template boiler pate to handle stuff.
