I am really excited how the SDK looks like and what languages are supported. I think its likely that it will be a C SDK, but of course i am hoping for a more modern language SDK. What is thrilling is the statement that every application is equal, which means that you would have access to all areas of the phone. Thats big compared to the way how java works on phones nowadays. Today its like coding against the smallest set of features possible.

From a business perspective i dont care that much about Android because mobile phones are not our market but since Motorola recently bought Symbol Technologies, which produce barcoding capable PDAs and related devices, there is a chance that they kill Windows Mobile on some of their devices too and implement Android. This would be in fact interesstring because these kind of devices are already supported by our logistics software.
