The dimple framework turned up after I did some (mostly) random searching on Google.

There are two interesting things about dimple

  1. It matches pretty well to 2 libraries I wrote in the last couple of years: uniform and tie
  2. In a previous lifejob I worked on an application called Dimple (which had nothing to do with method interception, and wasn't even written in Java)

Just one of those interesting things that Google led me to.
