My profiler of choice, JProfiler, incorporated nice features in the new version 5. First of all, and i voted for that feature a long time ago, it supports hprof analyzing now. Furthermore you have triggers and a MBean where you can control the JProfiler agent via JConsole. No more direct API usage for remote controlling the agent. Sadly the update price is not too friendly, at least for JProfiler 4 users. There is no difference if you bought JProfiler half a year ago or 3 years ago. Everyone pays the update price of 159 EURO. Not too cheap for cool but not so many new features. I will wait for buying it until the next need for hprof analyzing.
