Douglass Karr in this post taking 37signals.com to task highlights some points that I think are important for mobile application and platform developers. It in general is not the geek stereo typical way of confrontational cussing and etc that wins a debate or markets yourself in a product sens.

Recently, I had found myself having to motivate myself to cuss in a rare occurrence to make a point. Thus, I would state that cussing and confrontation should be a rarity in that battle is chosen carefully and not on impulse.

But, that is not the only useful part of Karr's post. His post highlights my belief in that mobile applications are 90% user interface specific. It is the heavy concentration on the user interface fro a mobile application that wins.

You cannot assume that a prior success wins in the next User Interface adventure but have to question every assumption again. I think Douglass Karr's blog will be an important resource in my future product design explorations.
