From time to time I get search referrals of people searching on why their browser always goes to searchnet.com. What you have is an adware virus that was triggered by downloading software from searchnet.com, ecorp.com, or many of the Mr Chad Folkening messes.

If you search on one of the many virus tracking security sites you will find directions how to make registry edits after uninstalling to get rid of this adware.
