You may wonder why a certain cross section of the technology community avoids reading TheBileBlog. It has do with the use of personal attacks as a substitute for a discourse on coding, software development, and etc.

This is one example of this Bile attitude right form the Apache project mailing list. He has also censored on such sites as TheServerSide.com for his personal attacks.

And there is certainly been some worse people as one in particular was banned from Java.net and pushed into a very small corner at JCP may find the author of TheBileBlog as more harmful as a member than a non-member.

It is very easy when you do not want to think, analyze and debate to pick someone prone to personal attacks as a substitute as it will not offer anything to cause you think and re-examine your analysis or view points. Oh well..
