it is funny how many MIDP 1.0 and MIDP 2.0 optimizing techniques for developing game s apply to flash lite optimization. The biggest one other than using 3-letter names for everything is using non-xml metadata schemes for loading data.

Specifically, using an ASCII scheme whereas the position of data also carriers some metadata value, think game map. Realistically UI component libraries should be reading data in this way not XML formats to really speed things up.
