While seeing CMDB's auto-filled is thrilling, the most exciting thing I've seen at the event is IBM's social software/Web 2.0 projects. For example, Dogear.

Apart from the public web features you'd expect, this paper from the IBM System Journal has an overview of the "activities" idea. The rest of the paper is interesting reading as well.

As Steve said there's some material yet to be announced, but what I've seen so far is very impressive.

Disclaimer: IBM is a client, as is Sun.
