With Portlets becoming a first class citizen in Apache Geronimo 1.2 and onward it is now time to look at how a management information content management system might be implemented. Sure, we could just throw in all types of portlets but that has problems.

By using a CMS framework you get the persistence layer, services layer, and etc problem solved. Graffito certainly has made some progress towards this set of goals.
