Some have reported hangs with FireFox 2.0. obviously, you can download FasterFox to optimize FireFox to display and load faster. The only hang-up I know that is a recurring problem from FireFox 1.5 to FireFox2.0 is the downloads.rdf file over 265k problem. If its close to this byte amount find the file and delete most of the contents except for the header and ending rdf tags and it will clear up the problem.
