I’ve been using Kim’s ThinkPad this week while the PowerBook is in the shop. I actually like the hardware quite a bit: the only problem I have is that the keyboard is a bit loud and the mouse buttons are kind of “loose” feeling. It took me ahwile to get used to having two buttons too (I know! Weird!). The problem I have with it is the software. It just blows goat-ass compared to OS X, but, more importantly, all the OS X “native” applications I have. I’ll be checking my repair status hourly.
