Guess how many bytes a kilobyte refers to? Right, one thousand bytes! From today I know that a kibibyte refers to 1024 bytes and a kilobyte to 1000. The same holds for the mebibyte instead of megabyte and the tebibyte. For more info, visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kibibyte
