The eWeek article tells about Eclipse dominating the IDE marketplace even ranked higher than MS Visual Studio. More important are the comments by Eclipse Foundation Executive Director Mike Milinkovich about the Sun Open Source Java strategy.

The prediction of Sun choosing CDDL over better choices such as ASF, LGPL, and etc I hope does not happen as it would drastically reduce the number of developers that could contribute code and participate.
