As you know if you install Eclipse as a non-package you at first do not have the Gnome Menu item. Ivar Abrahamsen has a set of directions to set a Gnome Menu Item for Eclipse, it is down in the middle of the page. If you have any other applications based on Eclipse RCP than you would do the same exact steps for those applications to get them in the Gnome Menus.
