Just going thoruhg my final tweakign of Debian to set up my Java Development Environment. While I am putting my JavaEE FOSS server installs in the opt directory.

Should I also put my Ivy and Maven local repositories in this opt directory folder? Seems like I should according to what the default file permissions are for this sub directory. I assume that my developer Reference Implementation binaries should be in my usr>local>bin sub directory.
