The iText development team have released version 1.4.4. "This new release brings the long awaited support for static PDF forms using the XML Forms Architecture (XFA). As for RTF: it is now possible to import existing RTF content into a newly created RTF document. Of course there were also numerous bugfixes based on the bugreports and patches posted on SourceForge."
