When will Sun Microsystems issue Linux versions of its CLDC and CDC Wireless JavaME Toolkits at the same time of the Windows releases? With the big push of Linux Smartphones using JavaME it would be a perfect PR opportunity to put forth JavaME benefits message. It would also fit into the Open Sourcing JavaME components and UEI strategy that Sun has pledged to be fully complete in the fall 2006-spring 2007 time frame.
