There are two things I've tried over the past few years on and off that never stuck:

As I've mentioned several times, I've been using Vienna for sometime and finally like desktop aggregators.

Recently, I've started using QuickSilver more as well. mray has been helpful in getting me to use it: when you're figuring out a new way (dare I say "paradigm"?) of working, it's nice to have a buddy to tell you about new awesome things you can do.

The flickr plugin with the combination of the comma-trick is awesome.

My Tubes are All Clogged

Searching for Agile in QuickSilver

Anyhow, to the point: one problem keep having is that I want to filter/scope my searches to specific catalogs.

For example, I added the del.icio.us plugin which pulls in all your del.icio.us posts and tags. It's wonderful in how fast it is, and I really like using it. The problem is, at last count, I have 5,441 bookmarks in del.icio.us and a lot of tags. So, the del.icio.us content tends to clog up the rest of my search results.

My first instinct is that I'd like to be able to filter out those results and then explicitly search for del.icio.us things on demand by somehow scoping my QS searches to del.icio.us. Now, you might suggest setting up a del.icio.us web search in QS, which I've done. The problem, as I've mentioned before, is that del.icio.us the web service is too slow for me, esp. compared to QS.

So, being new to QS, I'm curious if any of you, dear readers, have methods for handling the above "clogging"?
