It is intereting that when I stop posting JavaME development stuff that firms such as Bear Stearns(s1-1.bear.com/http://www.bearstearns.com/bear/bsportal/CorporateHome.do) show up to read my posts. It could be several reasons.

It could be that I realize that alot of javaME development will have to move towards the SOA concept especially those products that rely on or integrate with some type of network services or service. It could be the LBS posts since my Dec 2005 interview with a LBS social service start-up.
Or it could be my exploration of using Debian+VMNWare Player as a JavaME development platform instead of on MS Windows side of things. Or it could even be that the VCs are starting to get the concept that skilled JavaME developers are not always found where they migth be located.

At times this 'you cannot do JavaMe unless you are on east or west coast' makes me feel like David Alan Cole's constant struggle with the both the Country and Rock music establishment. Always on the oustide...
