Tim Fennell has announced the release of Stripes 1.4 Beta 1. "A small sampling of the changes included in this release:, a new stripes:url tag, ability to focus on-load fields in a form, better handling of international character sets, improved Spring bean injection (field/protected method injection), and better handling of complex generics (wildcard types, type variables etc.)."
