Last weekend the HausParty and ‘going out with the hausmates’ took place in Amsterdam. Awesome people (such as Aslak, Joe, Scott, Bob and many more), awesome ideas. Mainly discussions about IOC (PicoContainer/NanoContainer), and Groovy, a new dynamically typed OO language for the JVM, heavily influenced by languages such as Python and Ruby. Native support for mixins, closures, possibly IOC through PicoContainer and much more. Looks very promising!...
