With Antenna 0.14 being scheduled for release this next weekend, I thought I would highlight the contributors to the Antenna Project. I should mention that suporting more WTK/SDks for OEMs to influence developers to develop J2ME applications for those devices can be accomplished by supporting Antenna Contributors. The Antenna Contributors are:

Xiaodan Zhou, a Java developer from China that has won numerous Computer Science awards.

C. Enrique Ortiz, a J2me Developer and J2me Technical Author see hius site: J2MEDeveloper.com.

Stefan Haustein, a J2ME developer, his bio is here and as you will notice is involved both in FOSS J2ME projects and JCP JSRs in J2ME.

Holger (David) Wagner, J2ME developer.

Michael Kroll, J2ME developer and Technical Author.

Jorg Pleumann, J2ME developer and Antenna Project lead.

Fred Grott, J2ME developer and Technical Author.

One of the reasons you might see support of Motorola iDEN and not other Motorola SDKs is that we are a very small team with very limited resources. Of course more substantial support from OEMs might change that issue at some future date. Why should OEMs support Antenna?

Because collaborative support of Antenna by J2ME OEMs happens to increase the amount of J2ME developrs developing applications for their devices. its kind of somewhat comical that one of the Antenna contributors lives right in Motorola's backyard almost and yet no communciation from Motorola.

Speakign for myself, I would like to have resources to contribute support for Motorola non iDEN sdks, Nokia sdks, SonyEricsson sdks, Samsung sdks, and etc.
