I've decided to enter the Great Ocean Road Marathon. At 45km it's actually longer than a standard marathon and a distance I have never tried. I won't let that put me off though as the prospect of running up and down those hills, with that amazing scenery AND the road closed especially for the runners is just too great for me.
This week was meant to ease me back into longer distances; a total of 50km with a long run today of 22km (quite tough in 31C heat). The real fun starts next week as the mileage gets cranked up.
