I've been in Oz for 4 and a half years now . Today I took a huge step closer to becoming Australian; I competed in a triathlon. Ok, compete is a bit strong, I completed a triathlon. That, coupled with my recent purchase of a wetsuit (must remember to call it a "wetty"), surely entitles me to be called "Almost Australian".
