The domain name Carlsbad Cubes dates back to the time when I was working on an embedded system (running Linux on Intel's Xscape processor), which enclosure had a cubical shape. Over time, Carlsbad Cubes became to symbolize my goals in software and system design: modularity, stability, and simplicity. While these goals are still the same, gone are the cubical enclosures and I'm about to move North a little, to Santa Barbara.
wolfpaulus.com - new domain
The web site received some significant make-over a couple weeks ago and now it's time to change the domain name as well. I'm sure that SantaBarbaraCubes.com would be available but this is neither a company's nor an organization's web site, this is my very own site and what's more obvious than giving it my name - CarlsbadCubes is now wolfpaulus.com.
For simplicity I have also dropped the www but I'm well aware that domain changes are an inconvenience for everyone. To make things a little easier, I have put a couple rewrite rules in htaccess to automatically redirect HTTP requests to the new domain.
