After 3 train journeys (a local train to Ashford International, the Eurostar to Brussels and a slow train from Brussels to Antwerp), I've arrived in Antwerp for JavaPolis, which kicks off tomorrow with the University sessions. While the train journeys were fairly uneventful, the 5 minute taxi ride involved 3 u-turns! I've read that Belgium drivers are crazy, but now I've seen it for myself. I honestly have no idea how the driver's Mercedes was intact.

I'm a few kilometres away from the MetroPolis and to be honest I have no idea how I'm going to get there tomorrow morning! I'm sure I'll work it out. Good job I have wireless Internet access from my hotel room. :-)
