I will probably complete a partial PMD ruleset for J2ME MIPD over this weekend. There will be probably a common set of rules than specific rules for MIDP 1.0 and MIDP 2.0. I sort have to work blind as I do not have the nice PMD Applied Book yet.

Also, AST Viewer plguin for Eclipse is not working in Eclipse 3.1.1 for some reason. Thus, I will have to use the PMD standalone AST viewer and plug in the name values into Eclipse PMD ruleset editing view.

Still working towards obtaining a day time challenge in J2ME. Maybe I might get lucky and some company like Goolge may be interested in funding day time work in J2ME via Eclipse Mobile Tools for Java project.
