I think I have narrowed down the error to the serverdef file. Whne I copied the file from a bug report to get the proper startup and stop configuraiton I should have checked it to be sure it was a valid serverdef file.

Basically, the xsd validation will not pick up errors such as a miss-match between the modules where you list where the antpublisher publishes your appliction for deployment and where you have publishersw defined in the same serverdef file. The issue I am considering now is do I always assume that autodeploy is on with this server?

Since its a generic example, I think I should assuem that autodeploy is on and have the publishers defined to point to that directory for deployment. In other words it would have the same default features as the WebLogic90 serverdef file found currrently in WTp0.7 and WTP0.7.1.

Obviously, I may need to rethink autodeploy when the remote servers option is finally enabled in WTP.
