If you want to enable JBOSS to connect to a more reasonable polished JMX Console you need to enable a specifc item. The command you need to add in the run.bat:


-Djava.rmi.server.hostname=hostname



You can than use MC4J to connect with their JBoss setup as jsr 160 in JBoss is still slated for full implementation in JBOSS 5. If you are using jManage to cluster than you need to follow
