Remember that famous Sun TSCO license back in 2003 for suposedly some unnamed rights that TSCO had no contractual granted right to give in the first place? Sun's Linux secrets might be coming out per Novelle discovery according to this Groklaw story.

Will we find that SUN was honorable in this transaction? I think the bigger questiois how this affects the Java Development Community, a community formed with the mission of ending Monopoilstic vendor locks and dishonorable actions.

The good news is tha tif Sun was dishonorable in the 2003 TSCO license transaction towards Linux it only strengthens the movement amoung both JCP members and non members to loosen Sun Microsystems cotrol of Java ad move towards a more community based contorl beyond the current state of the JCP.
