If Sun does join the Eclipse project in 6 months as its in the main media now such as this article; then will that count as almost full approval of SWT as a java standard? Interesting question, no? To be blunt honest Net Beans performs slower than Eclipse both at minimum and maximum ram however it may not be fully 100% due to NetBeans using AWT and Eclipse using SWT.
