Since I’m using a ThreadLocal to store my Oracle iFS LibrarySession, I can’t use the util.concurrent PooledExecutor since ThreadLocal depends on thread identity when executing. So I decided to move away from a ThreadLocal and just request a new session for each pooled thread. Bad idea. Oracle iFS pools it’s LibrarySessions internally, and I fail to find where I can configure it (even put the iFS server side configuration to ‘big’), because it runs out of sessions after I fire...
