Whenever I have a new book comeing out, I get obsessive about checking Amazon. Yesterday I noticed a few extra links on my name from Amazon. It turns out they were from old Java Developer's Journal articles I'd written:
Amazon is selling old JDJ articles for $6 each. From the page count, I'm guessing they are selling the entire issue but listing it once for each article in the issue. It's also only HTML, not the nice PDF versions they have. That's really bad because JDJ was notorious for doing a bad job converting articles to HTML. I can't imagine a penny-pinching publisher like sys-con going back and cleaning them up, so I'm guessing the quality isn't all that great. For $6, I'm not very tempted to go to find out. And, I wouldn't recommend you pay money for them either, since they are online
