Werner Randelshofer sent me the following information regarding the latest release of his Quaqua supplemental look and feel for OS X.

Quaqua Look and Feel 3.0 beta 5
I have just uploaded version 3.0 beta 5 of the Quaqua Look and Feel. The most notable fixes aim at making Quaqua work in the restricted sandbox environment of Java Web Start applications. I am also moving towards making Quaqua compile on Java 1.5. This release also includes an new ColorChooserUI. The native Aqua color picker is very small and tall. That's why I have rotated the standard Swing swatches panel by 90 degrees. Although this panel is not present on the native color picker, I am providing it with Quaqua, to support cross-platform applications that wish to support a consistent color palette on all platforms.
