Yes, I was in fact wrong about Apple moving to Intel chips for their desktop product line. However, it would be interesting comparison from a speed performance standpoint to see a comparison of Apple's Rosetta to Pear's own MacOSx to Intel port.

Remember folks, we are talking about just in time compiling strategies that saw its first introduction in smalltalk, java, and MS.NET virtual machines. You will still see a speed decrease when comparing say Photoshop running as an Apple Binary on Intel chips to Photoshop running on Intel chips from a wintel binary.
