This set of Mobile Game predictiosn comes from an article at the BBC. Notice that the viewpoint is that Mobile Games are the first stesp into mobile data with Business Applications then further openeing that opportunity.

My belief is tha by developing casual Mobile Games int he first phase I am able to observe when US and other Mobile Network Telecoms become expert at data subscriber sales. There is going to be a crossover between games, business applications, and other Mobile Telecom services.

I see causal games moving into a 2nd phase where they may use other services usch as MMS as part of the game and etc. For instance a game for a camera handset that uses the photos in the gaem and possibly MMS in the saem game. Thus, the game spurs more data subscriber sales which Mobile Network Operators want in their business plan or operating model.
