Xito and the Case for Java on the Desktop
Last week I released the Alpha Version of Xito Application Manager . There was a lot of interest in the the release and today I have just released a new 0.8.1 version that includes many enhancements for launching JNLP Applications.

Based on numerous discussions about Java on the Desktop I would like to explain how Xito attempts to address each issue and what can be added to improve the functionality even farther.
