Is there a renaissance in desktop and client-side Java?
I know all too well that many people think Java is only good for server applications. It pains me to hear people blithely write off the value of Java for desktop and client-side application development, and it pains me doubly when it is Java developers doing it! Therefore I'm really pleased to see leading indicators of what could be a true renaissance of interest in desktop Java.
