I could not believe it at first (don’t they have extensive unit and integration tests?), but the Weblogic 8.1 SP1 JSP compiler contains a serious bug when using Tag libraries and translation-time validation of the tag attributes (via TagExtraInfo). This makes SiteMesh inline decorators fail. A patch is available through support and will be included in SP2....
