Val has a nice article about accessing COM objects with Java. Using J-Integra's COM-Java-Bridge, he shows how to feed data into Excel and generate charts.

I've already written about COM-Java-integration with JNIWrapper, my tool of choice. It's great to see more and more articles pop up about it. I guess it has to do with the resurgence of Desktop Java.
